Anyone use the Z6 with the Nikon 200-500 who also owns another full frame body? I also have the D850 - I know the AF on the Z6/7's is not as good (according to some) as the D5/D850/D500 bodies but is it really as bad as some reports say?

I could but really need a second body to keep the 200-500 bolted to permanently. Will do a bit more research re Z6/see what improvements (if any) the new firmware brings.

Thanks for your reply - pretty much in line with what others have told me so will probably be a D500 (although the Z6 is a nice bit of kit).

Anyone with the Z6 also own a D500? Just wondering how the focus speed/accuracy compares - looking for a second body to go with my D850 mainly to use with a 200-500.

Have you thought about Affinity Photo? I used it a while back and whilst it's certainly not a substitute for Lightroom I found it was for Photoshop.
