Man Convicted Of Taking Pictures Of Women Without Consent

Interesting that on a policing forum there is a similar discussion to that which we are having here. http://www.policespecials.com/forum/index.php?/topic/134961-man-takes-70000-pictures-of-women/

    Uuuurrrrgggghhhh! Time for some Senokat!

You mean you've never.......? :D Apparantly I can often be heard from outside the bathroom grunting "Uurrgghh Jesus!" Never looked in the mirror, though, so I don't know if I pull a face, but I'm sure that I don't stick my tongue out! :gag:

    Uuuurrrrgggghhhh! Time for some Senokat!

I was taking pictures of Pumpkin (that's his name) when he took a toilet break. I had no intention of photgraphing him in this context, but when I saw his screwed-up face with tongue sticking out........well, I just had to! :D

Olympus E-M5 at ISO 6400 - Where's all the noise?

Yes, the Sony sensor is a big step forward for Olympus, but the latest Panasonic sensors are excellent, too. At the moment there is a small gap in favour of Olympus, but not by much and the forthcoming Panasonic GH3 is expected to have a new sensor that will close the gap again. Exciting times!

Olympus E-M5 at ISO 6400 - Where's all the noise?

I agree, but one step at a time for me - I'm having to sell just about everything to pay for the camera! For a while I will "make do" with my Panasonic 14-45mm but later add some fast primes, such as the 45mm f1.8. :)

Is the constant need to upgrade/blame kit a digital thing?

Let me put it like this. I bought my Olympus E-3 just over 4 years ago (secondhand) for £740. I've recently "upgraded" (?) to an E-M5 and now need to sell the E-3, the going price for which seems to be about £350. So, over 4 years the E-3 has cost me approximately £400, or £100 a year. If I was...

Olympus E-M5 at ISO 6400 - Where's all the noise?

Thanks Alan. Yes, rather! It's still a novelty for me at the moment but already I'm getting the feeling that it's going to quickly become one of my all time favourites. :)

Olympus E-M5 at ISO 6400 - Where's all the noise?

I went to lunch with a couple of friends today and, of course, my new Olympus E-M5 came along too. I took this picture to test for myself the high ISO capabilities of the camera. Considering it was hand held, 1/15th sec @ f4.8, ISO 6400 with no noise filter, I think it did pretty well. I've...

Is the Olympus OM-D a crop sensor

But I came to digital from exclusively using Medium Format film cameras for about 10 years, so to me "Full Frame" (135) is a cropped sensor! To me, a 50mm lens still sounds like a wide angle, but with 4/3 I have to relate to it being a telephoto. :gag:

Is the Olympus OM-D a crop sensor

Exactly, but people still call them hoovers. My wife always aks me to "push the hoover round" even though we've had a Dyson for years. It doesn't matter, I know what she means and I know I'd better do it or else! So a Dyson is a hoover in much the same way as Four Thirds is a cropped sensor...

Is the Olympus OM-D a crop sensor

Technically you are absolutely correct, but less technically minded people find 4/3 easier to deal with if it is regarded as a crop compared to the 135 format. Nowadays I find it easier just to accept that it is almost universally regarded as a cropped sensor format, in much the same way as...

They're both equally mediocre - get an electric screwdriver! :D
