Silverstone F1 Grand Prix - my attempts at capturing motion

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it’s genuinely appreciated Being honest I never really thought about the background until later in the day as up to that point I was struggling to get the shots in focus, it was only when we sat down at Becketts that I was able to think about it. I kept...

Silverstone F1 Grand Prix - my attempts at capturing motion

Not posted any pics for a while as just haven't been using my camera much but I got to go to the Silverstone F1 1st round Qualifiers and its simply an awesome event! I've never really been able to take pics of moving objects (I'm so envious of the images I see here, you guys are awesome!!!)...

Ever wish you'd taken more pictures?

thanks, I guess my regret is all those places I've been and I didn't capture a "moment". My aim these days is to always comeback with 1 image from the day that is a "moment" or a "memory" so when I look back on my small group of Flickr pictures every image invokes an emotion.

Ever wish you'd taken more pictures?

I wish I had understood the workings of my camera when I was younger to take more thoughtful pictures, it’s only now I’m older have I spent the time to learn how to use my camera do I enjoy taking pics.

How content are you with your camera?

I’m very happy with my Fuji XE2 and 23mm prime, so much so that the 56mm prime never gets used. Recently I’ve been trying to take pics of fast moving cars and I now think a quicker autofocus system within the Fuji ecosystem would really help so maybe an XT3 in the future but I can’t justify the...

    Fuji X-E1/X-E2/X-E2S/X-E3 Owners Thread

Agreed I thought the build was the best of the 3 I tried out - didn't realise I could get one for £700 ish, the refurb XE3 is £549 so it isn't much of a step up, thanks! That was my fear, it looked like it was made for the lighter lenses and I've no intentions of using them - I love my 23mm...

    Fuji X-E1/X-E2/X-E2S/X-E3 Owners Thread

Has anyone gone from an XE2 to an XE3? Reason I ask is I really want to and finally got to play with the XE3 last week and it almost felt like it was too small to be comfortable to hold with the 23mm F1.4 or the 55-200 zoom, I’m totally gutted at the moment as I like the offset viewfinder of...

    Way out West - Cornwall

I've just got back from Cornwall and in particular Godrevy - your image of the lighthouse is simply stunning and captures how wonderful that place is - I've been trying to capture it in one image for nigh on 10 years now and have failed every time :( Dare I ask, was there much post processing...
