Ok thanks for help and advice prob stay with canon I think and a lot of my shots are with the wide angle lens. Plenty of food for thought thanks again folks.

Sorry for not being clear got standard canon wide angle and a sigma telephoto. The picture quality has degraded I went into Jessops and they quoted me 225 pound for servicing lenses/camera. And that might not fix issue the gear was stored for a year or so and its got damp and the wide angle...

Hey folks looking to get a new camera I currently own a canon eos 400d it's about six or seven years old and pictures quality has degraded. I would like to get a similar camera is there anything better now. I'd be looking at spending about five hundred pound. I like landscape and slo mo water...

That looks good amazing what you can do with some tweaking. Sorry though I quite like the person being in shadow don't know why just prefer it. My mate will be chuffed because you can see its him now though.

Thanks for the comments was up doing some scrambling/climbing and we'd stopped for a rest. The noise/quality was probably because I used my iPhone. knew the helmet would not be popular so moved it for later photos

Thanks for your comments having some focusing issues with my camera/lens I thought they were not sharp enough though the better of what I took.

Thanks for the comments it's a route in north Wales called ampithearter buttress and it's 287 meters high. The pinnacle in the photo is the top sections and the rope though with some slack would stop a long fall. The photos were taken on my iPhone 4 so some quality issues I know

Yeah it's a chalk ball he's holding used to dry off sweaty hands or give a bit extra grip on polished (shiny) holds.
