    Lakeland Mountain ID please

    At the viewpoint from which the photograph was taken both Robinson and Hindscarth, although higher, would be obscured by Catbells and Maiden Moor. The one on the right is Crag Hill, that cliff face is unmistakable. You can check it out on Google Earth.

    If you mean the remains of the old steamer jetty, then no I have never seen it completely submerged.

    There is only limited road side parking at Thackthwaite. You might want to use Google Earth Street View to check it out. Having said that, it is the best place to start the climb.
