I have the M.Zuiko 90mm Macro lens for my OM1 MKII, and it's fantastic, but I wanted something smaller that I could easily grab and take out on walks, so I also bought the M.Zuiko 60mm Macro, this thing is amazing, tiny and light as a feather. I took it out with me today when I was walking the...

    Canon R6 Question

Hi Stuart First time I've read this thread, so firstly just wanted to say what a kind and lovely gesture this was. I'm surprised to read your last comment that she hasn't used it, is she a little unsure of stepping away from the comfort of knowing what she has with the R10? Maybe ask her if she...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

So was it the final image quality you weren't happy with, with the Sony outperforming the Fuji? Or was it the EVF quality? I'm not going to preach about the Fuji, I think for what it is, a medium format sensor in such a small and compact body, it's definitely got a place for me. Particularly...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

I have the Fuji GFX100RF and because it has no IBIS, any photography in poor light, at night, needs to be on a tripod. For a very light daytime walk around camera it's amazing, and the image quality is fantastic, but the lack of IBIS is what lets it down.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

I want to practice more macro photography so I need to invest some time to get out on walks and find some interesting subjects, also to learn the craft. This little fella was running around on my kitchen island this morning, he wouldn't stay still very long though so I struggled to get shots...

    Ball head or Gimbal?

I do, but generally only use it with my 400mm 2.8 so it's already balanced

    Ball head or Gimbal?

I have both and my personal preference is I prefer the gimbal for larger setups, I use the ballhead for my smaller cameras / lenses

    Photo Mechanic has won :-(

I agree completely, I'm still on the perpetual version but won't hesitate in switching when I have to. I remember being tempted to buy it for years, always put off as I didn't really think I needed it, when I finally took the plunge I wish I'd done it years ago. It even helps me with all my...

    Godox 600 problem

As the guys above have said, it's your shutter speed, ND filter to help you overpower natural light and still retain a shutter speed low enough to operate your flash in the right way. Alternatively, sell your R1 and buy a Hasselblad X2D II, as their lenses use a leaf shutter you can use flash...
