I have the Fuji GFX100RF and because it has no IBIS, any photography in poor light, at night, needs to be on a tripod. For a very light daytime walk around camera it's amazing, and the image quality is fantastic, but the lack of IBIS is what lets it down.

As the guys above have said, it's your shutter speed, ND filter to help you overpower natural light and still retain a shutter speed low enough to operate your flash in the right way. Alternatively, sell your R1 and buy a Hasselblad X2D II, as their lenses use a leaf shutter you can use flash...
