    Sony RX100

The cashback is the Sony Winter Cashback promotion.Once you have purchased the camera, you need to make a claim on the Sony promo website, part of which involves supplying your bank details. After a few weeks the £100 should be credited to your account from ''Link Network" - at least that's what...

    Sony RX100

I agree - it is strange. I had discounted the Kata based on the measurements - but the Ebay seller (gwcameras) said he had personally tried the RX100 inside the case. And given it was only £7 including P&P - it was worth trying out. I think I will carry the battery seperately - as having in the...

    Sony RX100

Ok - got the Kata ZP-4DL The Mk4 just about fits into it. Have to be a bit (but not overly) careful when closing the zip - to ensure it does not catch the body. It has a little internal pouch (for SD card), but definitely NOT getting a spare battery in there - if you put the camera in facing...

    Sony RX100

Just ordered a Kata ZP-4 DL - I spoke to the seller of the PP70 and he said the PP70 is much smaller than the CC70, He said he tried out a RX100 in a few small cases/puches and the Kata was a good fit - which was confirmed by a few Amazon UK reviews for the Kata. Will report back on fit here -...

    Sony RX100

Cheers - found a CC70 on Ebay, looks good - but it's white  - there are some PP70 in other colours - but it seems like the PP is too small - internal dimensions seem to vary between 2cm to 3cm deep (depending on where you read).... Weird though because the Ebay listing for the CC70 list...

    Sony RX100

Hi all, Apologies if this has been answered many times before - but I searched this thread for 'case' and did not find a definitive answer..some suggestions / older threads for items which may no longer be available. Can anyone recommend a compact sized zipped pouch/case for the RX100 M4 -...

RX100 M4 taking out of focus shots?

Hi all, I currently have an LX7 (tried an LX100 a few years back but was not impressed) and have just bought a RX100 M4. I was using the RX100 to take a few close up shots of various items (including the LX7) and I noticed that it would take a shot even when there was no focus lock (that I...

You change the burst rate, But then do you change the drive mode too (bottom cursor key on the four way control on the back)?

Yep - works the same on the GX8. Pressing DISP should toggle the various modes including with and without Level Gauge If your virtual function buttons (via the touch screen) are at the default setting, then F9 may also allow you to turn off the Level Gauge??

My favourite lens. I have the 35-100mm, 25mm f1.4, the 15mm and the 42.5mm - but the 12-35mm is on 95% of the time - perhaps even higher then 95%!

ExpertShield do good quality SPs with great customer service http://expertshielduk.com/lumix-gx8expert-shield.html In the unlikely event you have problems applying it they will usually replace FOC. I got my DSTE spare batteries from Amazon (with charger) - they sell the same on Ebay too...

You can select as many individual frames as you want and save them using the Camera. You don't have to do it immediately after taking the shot, you can revisit at a later time and select each frame you want to extract.
