Canon EOS 1100d + Sunpak PZ42X

Hello all I recently treated myself to a Canon 1100D and i've started to get involved and im really enjoying it. So I have also bought a Sunpak PZ42X flashgun yesterday. The trouble is im struggle to get things working. Ive connected it correctly to the body, just cant get the flash working...
