I was up mam tor yesterday morning too from about 7.30am to 8.30am, annoyingly I ran out of battery after about 5 photos!

Just got home from a day out and found a £1.68 macro reverse ring lying for me in the post pile. A little cheap purchase I'd made to see if I'd enjoy macro photography as I'd never done it before. Had to use it straight away even if I should be in bed really! Bearing in mind this is a first...

Cheers! IIRC it was about 50x30second exposures, F8 and ISO800 really chuffed with how it turned out

I'm thinking of getting a nikon d3100 but I was wondering if the settings LCD display is backlit? I do a lot of night photography so it would be advantages. Couldn't find an answer on google
