Odd - Simple and effective. Fits the theme. Line - Prefer the colour version. The rusty railings seem to add to the interest. Play - Just making me hungry now.

Odd - It's a great image but I'm still stumped as to what it is! Line - Nice simple image but my eyes are drawn to the pp at the top of the frame. Play - Good. It seems to be leaning to the right but it's not! I like the mono treatment and the DOF.

Line - Like this. Would maybe crop the top to just include the forward edges of the pages.

Odd - Good take on the theme. A little central for me. Line - Much better composition on the second edit. Wasn't keen on the white vignette on the first. Play - Again the second edit is much better with the lighting. I guess this is what the project is all about - learning and looking at things...

Well, a little behind already (been a busy week!!) I haven't done this since 2010 but I enjoyed the challenge last time out. First up is Week 0 - Odd This was taken and (mostly) edited on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (edited with Snapseed) with a few tweaks in PhotoShop. Week00-Odd by Holryn, on Flickr

I did this a few years back and learnt an awful lot from it. I have hardly picked up my camera in the last 12 months so I feel I need something to change that. So I will chuck my hat in the ring.
