Want to take a photo stick series of photos of a lilly. Can I use a ring flash for each exposure. Or should I set the flash to 'permanently' on and do it that way. Can't take the lilly to natural light not improve natural light near the flower.

One of the plates is a genuine manfrotto and has come loose. The others were cheap repros and are now in the scrap metal bin.

I have thrown out the cheap copies as they are never a tight fit and are obviously of low grade material. I use a Three Legged Thing Ellie bracket and that has come loose too. PTN, the verticle part of the bracket cannot fit flush to the side of the D7500 due to the camera strap attachment...

Just purchased Nikon d7500. Have a Sigma 17-70 1:2.8-4 DC C which I used on my d5200. Lens works well but was wondering if it was worth upgrading and if so, what to please. Have seen some AFS 24-70 mm second hand from £325 to £625. Also a Tamron f2.8 VC G2. Comments and advice please.
