    Panamoz

This is a members forum. We are all here to enjoy our profession or hobby. Discussions like this tend to follow a similar all too familiar pattern. Not enjoyable in my humble opinion. I think a little more live and let live would make for a harmonious meeting place it was intended to be. Merry...

    Canon EOS M Series Cameras

It could have been a dedicated mount........ I will investigate my earlier reading!! :D

    Canon EOS M Series Cameras

I would agree that Canon's M system is a disaster for a company of their standing. Agreed too that they have channelled their resources towards their other bodies to the detriment of a much higher profile entry into the mirrorless market. But they have produced some wonderful FF and APSC bodies...

    Canon EOS M Series Cameras

Indeed Steve, Canon should have entered the mirrorless arena that much earlier. Why sacrifice the advantage to your competitors? However we have had some stellar bodies from them in the meantime, the 5D3 and 4, the 1DX2. The M5 isn't bad. It just could be better but I'm sure Canon will not do a...

    Canon EOS M Series Cameras

M7 or whatever it will be called is likely to be a FF body with an announcement due in the fourth quarter of 2018. The word according to Canon Rumours or more accurately Rumors, is at CR2 level indicating that the information is good and from a known source. I wonder how heavy and indeed pricey...

    Purchase Fujifilm X-T2

Tough one this Vittorio. The first one has such a low feedback. Even I who last did anything on EBay almost a decade ago have more!! I'm not too sure to be honest. The second is a grey dealer so you'll be reliant on their warranty. I don't know much about them but if going grey, why not look at...

    Snapperstuff - FLM

Just adding my 2c if I may. Snapperstuff are fantastic. I came to know of them through attending one of Jeff Ascough's seminars years back and acquired some of my Think Tank gear from them. Nothing is too much trouble. Thoroughly knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

Amazon lightning deal on Manfrotto CF tripod

Now then £165 is a better deal than the £236.58 I saw on the link. Perhaps the lower priced units had sold out. Agree with you on Manfrotto products Jim. They do set a standard. Pity you hadn't posted about the bag earlier. I have an underused spare you could have had. Best wishes :)

Amazon lightning deal on Manfrotto CF tripod

It is however the previous model of the 190 4 section CF tripod Jim. Manfrotto have been rolling out new version of their tripods over the past couple of years so considering the new one lists at £249, I think for an extra £12 or so, the newer models are much better made and more aesthetically...

    Now good communication fromMPB!

I wonder if their email system may be the root of this issue. In the past week I traded successfully with MPB but each time I responded to their email or initiated one, it started a new thread at their end. Perhaps as a consequence they are currently inundated somewhat. However the phone...

    F15 Eagle,Nail flight.

This is beyond-words stunning and beautiful Rob. The kind of shot that makes one relive the moment and for those who weren't there, an unforgettable in-person experience. Many thanks for sharing. Have you tried to find out if you could get a copy to those airmen? I bet they'll be thrilled...

    Canon 50mm f1.4 and Canon 70-200mm f4 is

Well Nick In your shoes and for what my 2c are worth, if you shoot landscapes you really ought to be looking at something at the wider end. A 24mm under normal circumstances while useful isn't particularly wide and even less so especially if you are using a 1.6x FOV cropped sensor as Martin has...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

and not too if one takes a picture of popcorn for this thread. Sadly as a Canon user though a one-time Fuji wannabe, one might say I do not have a dog in this you-know-what :D 'fraid too, there is no popcorn in the house :(
