I would agree that Canon's M system is a disaster for a company of their standing. Agreed too that they have channelled their resources towards their other bodies to the detriment of a much higher profile entry into the mirrorless market. But they have produced some wonderful FF and APSC bodies...

Just adding my 2c if I may. Snapperstuff are fantastic. I came to know of them through attending one of Jeff Ascough's seminars years back and acquired some of my Think Tank gear from them. Nothing is too much trouble. Thoroughly knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

It is however the previous model of the 190 4 section CF tripod Jim. Manfrotto have been rolling out new version of their tripods over the past couple of years so considering the new one lists at £249, I think for an extra £12 or so, the newer models are much better made and more aesthetically...
