A few shots from 2021 International Landscape Photographer of the Year

There are always some great shots in this competition but find it often rewards over processed unrealistic images Reckon the Natural Landscape Photography Awards was set up as a counter

How long have you been into photography?

Properly simce 2014 so just over 7 years and still learning One of my biggest regrets is not earlier, went to some amazing places (Kamchatka and 8000m peaks spring to mind) with photos taken on auto with a handheld

    London Three nights in London

I live in London and agree with the suggestions of the South Bank and Canary Wharf. Also as said Paddington Basin (tripod police) and Little Venice (both walking distance from Paddington) might be worth a look and night street photography around Soho can be good. Have never had any problems...

    Beverley Sunset

Great set, grew up nearby so recognise it and enjoyed looking at them The processing looks natural and glad you didn’t lift the shadows too much. No 2 is my fave, not too cluttered, superb sky and no blown out area

Non UK Iceland at the end of July......worth it?

I am planning a photo trip to Iceland this summer and am trying to work the best time to go for long lingering sunsets. Am pretty flexible on dates and the plan is just to hire a car, bring a tent and follow the weather. I was also thinking July could be the best time but the info I have...
