Thanks. I think the softness perception is from the tree movement (10s exposure). The stone wall is sharp in the original larger file. Maybe compression on the small image file allowed here.

Sadly no wider shots, forgot my wellies so I couldn't get in the water away from the trees and branches to get wider. Although wider meant no snow on the mountain in the background. So overall I think this was the best I could in the situation. It was a one shot location with the light. No...

Loch an Eilein on Thursday. The weather was not good and the sun came out for a few minutes, literally. The hours waiting I think were worth it for this.

Sorry it doesnt work fro me as my eyes are instantly drawn to where I think the join is on the two shots. The halo effect at the rocks on the left are a bit extreme for me.
