I'm also refusing to have a smart meter fitted. Every middle part of the month, I email British Gas both my electric and gas meter readings and then pay the bill via visa card,. Have been doing it this way for 15 years where they don't get a penny more or less out of me.
But I suspect this will...
Haven't watched it since Bouncer the dog died, although it's only just recently I found out that it is still being shown on UK TV, I thought it was abandoned ages ago. At the same time I noticed its sister programme Home And Away is also being shown, I reckon that will be the next to go...
Like a couple of posters said in here, I have dipped my toes in by watching a couple of episodes when it first started but it just simply did not gel on me where I did not find it humourous - and this is coming out of me who enjoyed Miranda. :D
I'm currently going through a Skyrim phase where I'm on my 150th hour since November. It's being played on a i9 with 32gb RAM and GTX 1080Ti PC. I've also just recently completed Serious Sam 3, the last boss was pretty intense.
If I fancy a quick blast, it's Forza Horizons 4 on my X Box Series X.
Hi Cobra. It must have defaulted to the blue theme as I had it on Neutral (grey) but it's only just today years old that I have discovered the Night mode and liked that better. :giggle:
Noticed the change to blue and wasn't that keen on it, but have found the "night" setting - so much, much better. I'm more of a dark background person.
I love trains, be it real life size and models.
I've captured this Stanier Black 5 storming through Folkestone on my trusty Nikon D7000 a couple of years ago, it was the first time I've seen a Black 5 in the flesh and was blessed with good light on the moment.
Not so much a "pioneer" as such but I like to remember him as a real game changer (in the literal sense) with making home computing that much more affordable and accessible with the much loved Spectrum 48K home computer rather than the failure of the C5 and a PC-like computer the QL.
I guess...
I know that place, I would NOT want to live there being such an exposed location with the prevailing wind and tidal surges.
Back to about this thread topic, there is a council owned grass verge right in front of my house and I wouldn't mind buying it up. First thing I'd do is to get rid of the...
I've ordered literally hundreds of items ranging from the mundane to the obscure from Amazon in the past 10 years and not once have I ever been let down. If anything, Amazon has been the real hero in the past year while in lockdown.
I really should have a Prime account as it would probably...
Hi Marcel, while it is true that I don't post as much as I used to in here, I'm still a daily lurker so I will miss my teatime reading but I do understand your reasons for stepping down. I wish you and your family all the best and like others say, will say a huge thank you for many years of service.
Have both first and second series on DVD, at least what's on there is uncensored unlike on Freeview TV where the bit Wayne says "prick" behind a barman's back was cut out. That was one of the many memorable moments of the series.
