    Fringing and elements 11

Does anyone know the simple way of clearing this problem up? It looks to me that there are no options in the raw software to do this. Cheers

    Nd grad filters

I thought so much, I assume that in this instance if you were shooting a building you would just have to blend different exposures of the same shot.

    Beginner Stodmarsh Nature Reserve

I remember only 12 months ago when I first posted on here I did the same things. But just keep snapping away and you will improve and learn what is right and wrong. Well maybe not so much wrong but what people like to see.

    Nd grad filters

I'm contemplating buying a set of nd grads but something has been bugging me. How do these work? Aside from the obvious, allowing you to expose the foreground for longer so you don't lose the sky, how do you go on if say you are photographing a building which cuts vertically straight through...

    Beginner Stodmarsh Nature Reserve

Gonna be quite harsh, but you have fallen into the trap, as a beginner, that many do, including myself.the image is out of focus but aside from that ditch the framing. It serves little if no purpose at all. Concentrate on getting clear in focus well exposed shots and once you've mastered that...

    Critique Long exposure of waterfall

Cheers amp34 and Mackenzie. I use elements 11 for editing. I will look into this later. If you check my other post. Tittled cheddleton flint lock, I had noticed this also where the roof of the buildings meet the blue sky and had been wondering how to correct this. My camera was resting on the...

    Critique Long exposure of waterfall

Thanks for looking at my pictures amp, I've learned a few things here from you. These images are shot in raw, how do you go about removing the ca from these images. Also I wasn't aware what of what tone mapping was, but google helped here! I haven't intentionally done this but may have created...

    what price ISO performance

I was talking to my mate about this the other day. He has the 5d and shoots a lot of action shots. He can shoot at something like 128k ISo at f8 with a shutter speed of 1-1000! And get quality shots. I was going for the 7d but he says go for the 6d it well worth the extra.

Cost to set up a studio.

Thanks for you response. Early days this so unsure on size but prob around 200 sq ft. As far as cost for hiring I was thinking of something like £20 per hour £50 for half a day £80 for a full day. As far as budget goes I think I could spend 5k, hopefully the premises will need little general...

Cost to set up a studio.

Sorry I prob didn't make myself clear. This will not primarily be for my use, I want to create a studio to rent to others. My plan is that on another floor this building will also have a hairdressers, nail/beauty salon. And I will have a separate photography studio. I don't want to just put...
