Thanks guys, I think I'll stick the kit on. The 18-200 is a great allrounder but just a bit bulky and weighs a fair bit too! Just wanted something nice and light. Cheers

Going to Amsterdam with a few friends and wondering if I will be OK with just a 50mm 1.8 lens. I'm going to be taking a few people shots and also pics around the Xmas markets etc. Do you think I will be too restricted with just the 50mm? I'm on Crop Sensor too so thinking it may be too long...

I already have a copy of Photoshop CS5 installed but have never had time to really get to grips with it. I am better with LR and Elements? Are they a lot easier to use?

I like this a lot. I tried a similar shot but I don't think it was quite dark enough and it didn't come out right! My composition was nowhere near as good either!
