haha, yeah the 1Ds is pretty old. I bought it 2nd hand about 5 years ago and it was pretty ancient then. not many of them about anymore but still a half decent 2nd camera/backup. The mac is a 27" iMac from 2012 with a new SSD and 32GB RAM upgrades

I did install the latest driver from the Epson site but it seems as though they now only do generic drivers for all their printers rather than specific models individually. I'll give it another go, cheers guys. failing that'll contact Epson and see if they can help.

I shoot in a relatively small studio space and sometimes struggle to get enough in frame even zoomed right out at 24mm. Likewise at many wedding where I want the whole congregation in shot or inside or outside a venue/church/reception/etc

My backup is a 1Ds mk1 buy I carry that with me on weddings with a 50mm f1.4 mounted. If lighting/iso was a problem I'd use flash either on or off-camera
