The 55mm is very nice. I got a bit of envy when the 50 1.4 was released, but looking at a number of side by side comparisons, I decided to keep the 55mm given the massive difference in price.

I like his channel - perhaps I'm in the minority that I'd like to see a bit more of the technical - be that out and about or in post.

If budget is a concern, the SJ4000 is a good GoPro alternative. Very usable and good value for money considering the price difference.
