Can't not give the "benefit of doubt" to a Manchester team, what are you thinking? You should know by now that the brown envelopes are always bigger when they come from Manchester.....

Landscape equipment - Fuji vs Olympus

I set up an import filter that reduces sharpening to zero when Lightroom. Since then I have had no issues whatsoever with Fuji RAW files. flower 2 by Steve Jelly, on Flickr Basking Chaffinch by Steve Jelly, on Flickr Foliage in these seem fine to me.

All the images I have taken with the 35 on the T5 look like they have missed focus, put it back on the T3 and it's fine. Seems a bit strange, but there you go...

I'm finding that that some (mainly the older 35 f1.4) is not a good match for the 40mp camera. The 3 zooms I have seem to be fine, 10-24 f4, 50-140 f2.8 & 100-400.

    Skoda's latest.

I wouldn't say it's twice the price, but having been a very happy Mini owner for many years (I've had 5) the last one being a JCW Clubman, this time around, I just couldn't see the value in a new Cooper S Countryman, even a 10k JCW Countryman was overpriced for what they are, and I don't like...

    Skoda's latest.

I picked up a brand new Audi Q2 at the beginning of February. 1.5 TFSI 150bhp 7 speed DSG. I was worried that I would miss the 2.0 235bhp Mini JCW Clubman, but I haven't, other than that lovely engine note. I've been very surprised how well this 1.5 picks up and goes, the boot is bigger, it's...

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Once you have spent time on a motorcycle you learn 2 things. 1. Most drivers don't look properly, or don't care. 2. You can generally spot the real idiots even before they do something stupid...

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

I was on the M27 yesterday. There's roadworks for quite a few miles, so it's 50 mph and average speed cameras. An older chap in a BMW was about 2m off my backside, so I gently touched the brake with my left foot a couple of times, hinting that I wanted him to back off a bit. This didn't work...

    Ann

On Saturday, I went down to Lee-on-Solent to be with my sister Maureen as it was the 4th anniversary of the passing of our (other) sister, Ann. Maureen had some of Ann's ashes, so we decided to scatter them on the beach where she used to walk her dog when she was staying with my sister...

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Exactly how I felt before we escaped to the West Country almost 5 years ago. I got to the point where I really hated living in London, and haven't been back despite being there over 25 years. We still have family in Kent, and even driving there along the M3/M25/M20 gets me depressed. I love...

Please, we all had worms with early versions of the Fuji bodies, you just had to learn how to process them (and not oversharpen them). You can set up most Fuji bodies to take multiple shots in different JPG profiles. Personally, I never use JPGs, what's the point when you have all that data in...

    Cash is King !!!

Cash is important for the local coffee shops. Not that they don't take plastic, but my coffee & cake doesn't show up on the statement when I use cash. What the Mrs doesn't know won't hurt her :ROFLMAO:

Will play with that over the next couple of weeks. The T5 is the first camera I've ever relied on for auto ISO. Used it while birding last week and it proved better than expected,
