    Thanks Gerod. I believe that too, but think that the EOS100D is a digital camera and old camera is not! Any views on that? Thanks again Jeremy

    Am I out of touch? Can a Canon AF (Tamron make 28-300 XR (IF)) lens, bought for my old EOS 300V, fit and work - on a EOS1000D? Any help much appreciated - thanks! Jeremy
