I've recently very stupidly got clobbered with USA delivery charges and import duty of £30 - (charged by UK Delivery co before they would release parcel) for a camera bag I could only find in US on line, never again! - so be very sure you are calculating in UK IMPORT DUTY on any online purchase...

Hi Jen, not yet got the 100mm but hoping by end of month I will - it all gets so expensive doesn't it. I really wanted the canon 17-55 & welcome all the advice guys on this forum are giving, but also had assurances elsewhere that the Tamron quality is now much better & it's not bad alternative...

Hi, I am currently looking at theVelbon Ultra Luxi L - comes with pan/ tilt head - locally going for £99.99 but cheaper on line - I f you google the name you'll see a number of sites with places to buy. Be grateful to hear from anyone using this?
