The view from the train. This might be one of those shots that looks rubbish to most people, but to me it perfectly captures what it was like to travel through Japan. I miss it so much...
Kawaguchiko by Jamie Moulton, on Flickr
Spotted this tree in Kawaguchiko, Japan.
Kawaguchiko and it's north shore are popular photo spots, so I'm surprised I've never seen this before. It's only about 5-10minutes walk further than the usual spots.
Given how well kept all trees are in Japan, I can't help but feel that the shape isn't...
My Patona Platinum batteries are still going strong after 3-4 years of frequent use. No swelling, and no noticeable difference in capacity vs the Fuji despite technically being slightly lower (1180mah vs 1260mah).
I do both. I got some third party batteries for my X-T3, and for my trip to Japan I picked up a power bank so I could charge on the go. I actually used a USB dual charger to charge the 2 batteries that aren't in use while they were in the bag, but also powered the camera with it on a few occasions.
I can't imagine it's a third party thing - they'll all be threaded to line up at the same orientation, which is dependant on the threads on the lens being the same.
I've seen reports of X100V accessories not fitting on the VI - namely the filter/lens hoods. Apparently the thread is slightly longer on the VI so they don't screw all the way back.
