I have it and think that it is great. If I need longer then I add the TC x1.4.
I would say that on the Z8/9 the lens +TC combo works really well as it is a balanced setup but on Z7/Zf it does not feell as good.
I really like SmallRig products. I have their base grips on all my recent Nikon and Fuji cameras. I also have a pair of their torch shaped and sized LED lights.
Fine shot.
I have some shots as they land and enter the nest but catching them in flight is much more difficult as I shot single shot so my success rate is much less than shooting at 20fps.
Yes it is on the Sony A7R VI.
It is perfect.
I am happy with the screen on the Zf as I never use it except for occasional image review or Menu changes, in fact I turn it over to face inwards.
I had the 24-120mm f4 in F mount and it was one of my favourite lenses so when I got the Z7 it was an easy decision to get the Z mount version. It is used on my Z8 and the 100-400 Z is on my Z9.
I agree that having a good toolset (set of cameras and lenses) is important if you want consistently good results.
I am very pleased that Nikon is doing well again as it means they have the finances to plough in new and different R&D for new products.
I have the two DC lenses 105mm f2 DC and...
I think that changing bodies Z to F or vice versa is just a false decision making point. My D850 produces just as good images as my Z8/Z9 with similar AF speed so ultimately ....... WTF did I buy a Z camera?
Well I bought the Z7 as I thought (maybe foolishly) that it would be the same as my...
Yes it works on my Nikons or Fujis and it is excellent as a fill light and can be used wirelessly as the flash head and hotshoe talk to each other wirelessly.
No but I have the Godox IT32 and it is excellent for a small flash.
I got mine with Fuji X and an interchangeable Nikon hotshoe foot so I can use it on either my Nikons or my Fuji cameras. The nice thing is that it provide wireless connectivity between the camera hotshoe connection and the...
I would not expect the AF to catch that, except by good luck or a slim chance.
Loads of highlights amongst the branches and the birds eyes are difficult to pick out.
