New flash gun godox iT 32

Yes it works on my Nikons or Fujis and it is excellent as a fill light and can be used wirelessly as the flash head and hotshoe talk to each other wirelessly.

GloForce rechargeable lighting for macro and close-up?

No but I have the Godox IT32 and it is excellent for a small flash. I got mine with Fuji X and an interchangeable Nikon hotshoe foot so I can use it on either my Nikons or my Fuji cameras. The nice thing is that it provide wireless connectivity between the camera hotshoe connection and the...

I would not expect the AF to catch that, except by good luck or a slim chance. Loads of highlights amongst the branches and the birds eyes are difficult to pick out.

I agree that with all the FB and IG 'influencers' who are a set of poser menaces in my opinion, removing the GPS coordinates is a must these days. I dont mind sharing a location with a friend or other known photographers. However I dont want people in shorts, T-shirt and flip-flops going up...

No the Z8 is probably the best camera of all. The Z9 does has built in GPS which is a winner if you are traveling or shooting wildlife or birds as you know exactly where the shot was taken.

I think that Z8 probably has the best AF surety of all my Nikons. I shoot the Z8 mainly with the Nikon 24-120, or TTArtisan 75mm f2, or Nikon 105mm f2.8 macro lenses so to me the camera feels large especially when I compare it to the Z7 or Zf. I put this down to my lens choice or usage as I...

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Yes but the Z7 range would have the older CMOS sensor and mechanical shutter mechanism whilst the Z8, Z9 have the new stacked CMOS and electronic shutter. I think these are big differentiators and would definitely mean a revised Z8 and Z9 will be the choice of professionals. The 705g of the...

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I do wonder how far away the Z7iii is from release. All I would want is the exact same features as my Z7 but with the latest EXPEED chipset, improved AF and a change to a proper battery grip not one that uses the current battery slot for an insertion. My Z7 and Z8 are fine cameras but the Z8 is...

Comparison of ZR vZ7. Not such a big difference, yes the Z7 viewfinder makes it 20mm taller but I would be happy to use the Z7 (as I do, except for its slower AF), but I could not use the ZR as I would need to keep taking my glasses on and off.

If only the ZR had a viewfinder built in then it would be a great replacement for my Fuji X100V. I really like the Sony a6x00 cameras but I do not want to support another set of lenses.

Get well soon Jeff. Mind you the weather here is rubbish again so not good for us to be putting our old bones out in the cold and wet!

Fine pair of shots Gareth. Are those trees permanently 'feet in water' or is it a temporary flooding. Well spotted either way as they are cracking good images.
