The 3100 ISO definately goes up to 6400 - not quite as clear as D3 but not bad - will probably try and experiment a bit before - not sure if there is any run through ! thanks

It would just be in a smallish room - I think it will be darkish (otherwise the projector wont show up the images properly) - I don't know yet if she will be still or moving in it - she may have to be still for some short period to get pictures - but I can't work out the ISO range or aperture -...

I have a Nikon D3100 and have been asked to photograph an art installation for a college friend - who will be using people and a projector that she wants captured in pictures - anyone know what the best kind of settings are ? thanks. jmc
