Wow they are Amazing shots! and as you say the first Spider is particularly impressiv.
Thank you for sharing, I think a small flash and then just play around using that and natural light :)
I see, I think I will need to have a good think on my options then.
One I have been looking at is the Hvl-32m, priced between £200-220 which isn’t bad compared to 3rd party & the newer Sony units, it sits at quite a reasonable place… Just not sure if it’s too old a model or not/if that matters...
Ahh yes, I have heard of that company and some good reviews. The only slight hesitation is I have read quite a few things on various sites regarding hotshoe fitting issues with 3rd party flash (particularly Godox) and the newer Sony models like the A7iv & A1… which is why I thought Sony would be...
Oh wow they are stunning shots!
Thank you for the advice though, I think maybe I will continue with practicing with natural light then, because they really are nice images and then just look at cheap cheerful flash for when it’s absolutely needed :)
Ahh no don’t be silly, I didn’t think that at all aha :)
If I’m honest it’s actually a fair point and makes me think of my situation, because although I’m looking for one for Macro, it really will just be for that odd occasion it’s needed. The other types of photography I do wouldn't require...
Thank you all for your replies. You have mentioned you don’t use them much, is this in general or when doing Macro photography? Is it best to stick with natural light for Macro would you say?
Hiya all, does anyone use a Sony branded (I won’t to stick with Sony) Flash on camera?
I’m looking for recommendations of one specifically to use with my A7iv & 90mm for Macro.
Thanks in advance :)
Thank you very much for this and sorting my confusion! I will make sure I now follow Memory Recall in order to set this up.
Thank you also for the tip, I suppose I will work out if it works for me or not once I start using it :)
Evening all! Apologies if this is quite a silly question, but I’m getting a little confused. I have an A7iv and want to set up the C1-C3 dial points to automatically set the camera up for different types of photography; ie one for Macro & one for Birds.. My confusion, is does the coke under...
Hiya all,
I’m looking for some advise. I finally have a second A7iv now, which will be attached to the 200-600 permanently as a wildlife set up, but wanted some recommendations on best cases to store this set up? I also have same body with a 70-200ii attached, so not sure if a backpack for...
Yeah I must agree with you in the advertising side of things.
As it was the printer was not actually bought with photo in mind, it was for my dads business (I do the admin), but thought I would give photos a try on it.
As you say though I’m sure it will offer a good enough image for my needs :)
