Here is a picture taken yesterday afternoon using the same setup as above. The image was cropped around 45% of the original width, reduced the size down to 1800x1200, further cropped the image down to 1200x800. Now, I'm not sure why this setup works with my camera set to 6mp, will do more...

Simon, The D700 is an excellent performer, that's why I treat it like an heirloom. From every review I've read, there's no reason why the Contemporary won't work fine with the D700 full frame. The only thing is, there may be some softness in the corners , but with some cropping, no one will...

I'm now in the process of recalibrating my Contemporary lens. I first experienced this type of thing with my Samyang 8mm fisheye lens, while using yet another one of my cameras, a Nikon D3200 (24mp) which produced good but blurry hazy images. I then connected the Samyang to my Nikon D3100...
