Little bit moist at times in Herefordshire today, but an excellent spectacle none the less.

On Sunday we had a Battle Royale in the garden that ended in an all you can eat buffet.
The result was Pigeons -2 : Sparrowhawk 2

E-M1iii, PL200 + x1.4TC, through the kitchen window and via DXO PL4
I used Mike Dunlevy's hide near Market Drayton, I managed to time it exactly right for the time of year, chicks not quite fledged, we had 52 visits from the Kingfishers in 4 hours, compared to an average of 12/day/
Thank you, I had absolutely no worries with the kit, only the user...... I had the Mk3 outside in appalling conditions with the 40-150mm f/2.8 on a remote trigger and then then E-M1X with the 300 f/4 or my PL200mm f/2.8 for perching shots. And forgive the pun it was like shooting fish in a...
Not going to lie, I'm quite pleased with my Kingfisher session. Definitely one of my finer ideas to do a Test and Wow on an E-M1X and 300mm f/4.

Check the lens contacts and that the lens is connecting correctly. Have you got AF+MF and MF Assist on. If that's not working reset the camera, sometimes they get conflicts that need a quick reset. Not sure what else to suggest, I've just gotten the 10mm and it works perfectly.
Took some time at the kitchen windowsill this morning to see who was hanging round the garden, it appears Mr Chaffinch was feeling a little testy.

Thank you, much appreciated coming from yourself. The TC makes it a 280mm f/4. The x2 TC makes it a 400mm f/5.6, I only use that with blue skies as I’ve also got the Oly 100-400mm as well. The PL200 at f/2.8 is useful on dull days to freeze action.
