Can anyone explain how to get metadata in this style as an overlay on a picture? A quick google suggests using a paid app but it should be fairly simple to pull the data from the image?

Haven’t had time to process yet but these are straight from the camera, A7RV + 24-70GM, very impressed so far with the 24-70 even though it’s not my usual focal length. :)

Other than the 24-105 which needs a refresh, what else is close to the Nikon Z 24-120 in terms of IQ? Maybe the Sigma 24-105 2.8? Anyone used the Sigma and would recommend it over the 24-105 f4? Is the extra size and weight worth the 2.8?

Not sure how well this will show but the sky here is stunning. :)

Sony 24-70GM. 35GM 1.4 is my most favourite lens ever and I’d choose it over almost all other lenses, especially as a light carry around lens for landscapes. The 1.4 is irrelevant for long exposures anyway as I usually shoot around f8 or f11 for everything in focus. :) I just love the IQ out...

I can try this when I’m back, just been out and took 40-50 shots, not sure how this will turn out or whether that’s enough photos but we’ll see. Looked all over Funchal for a camera shop but nowhere sells ND filters unfortunately. Took a trip to FNAC but they’re having financial difficulty...

Had a brief look through the photos, here's a few so far, not going to be fun sorting through 2000+ pictures.. These are all Nikon Z8 + Nikkor Z 400 4.5.

Had a really good time with the 400 4.5, carried it with the Z8 for 4-5 hours at the weekend and didn’t care about the weight at all. Noticed that at 4.5, the eye AF on the Z8 was really sticky, didn’t miss the eye at all but anything over 5.6, it was a bit hit and miss, locking onto ears...

Nikon Z 400 4.5 arrived today, it’s so light and easy to hold, coupled with my Z8 it’s very comfortable. Taking it to the Lake District this weekend so I’ll post up some images next week, hoping to see some good wildlife.
