I noticed about halfway down this blog the guy has a screenshot of My Menu in the D600 and it seems to have Auto ISO in there...

Hi Simon, perhaps No 2 suffers from the bright sunshine and clear blue skies that you mentioned. But I think the black and white conversion on the first shot really works and you seem to have caught some lovely warm light in No.3. :thumbs:
Well, I decided to be a bit more bold with the contrast but didn't push the saturation too much more. Also tried Dave's high pass sharpening instead of the regular Unsharp Mask and came up with this which is much closer to Martyn's edit:
Hi Martyn, I have to admit I did rotate it, then rotated BACK a bit when it seemed I had gone too far. Feel free to post your edit! :)
Dave, I will look into high pass sharpening. I did play with the contrast using curves but was wary of pushing it too far.
Popped out to try and grab a few shots this morning before the snow turned to slush! These two seemed to work the best but any advice, hints and tips welcome! :)
Adjusting all lenses to around -15 does seem to indicate that there might be something amiss with the body. For what it's worth I needed to dial in the following (off the top of my head):
18-70:-10
35 1.8:-7 or -8 (can't quite remember)
70-300vr:-3ish
50 1.8D:no adjustment
24-120 f4...
