Thanks for your comment. Barracks are open till 2016 I believe. Agree the barbed wire works well. I didn't actually know there was wire there until after taking shot 1 I decided to try and get closer to the water tower and found my way blocked! Re mounting and Borders I hope to do something...

Strange line across the middle of the trees? Filter?

:) no one else seems keen on mist - my post has no comments either! I like it. Think B+W works well and agree the scene is appealing. Like the comp - ESP the church(?) between the trees.

Unusual view but i really like it - as said above the layers work really well. Like the boat in the foreground as well.

Lovely shot - was at Criccieth this year - went in May before getting my DSLR but want to go back - so many great spots for landscapes!
