Camera for a Newbie, please help.

Only ever used a cheap shoot and point digital camera!. Now need to purchase a small camera to take some internal photo's of a friends guest house to send to their web designer for insertion to their website. Budget is VERY tight. Sainsbury's have a camera sale at the moment and I am looking...
