Thanks for your comments SixToes, that what I was aiming for really, I'm not very bothered about buffer speeds, as long as I have a decent card (which as I said will more than likely be a Sandisk) and a decent capcity then read/write speed to my computer is a bonus! =) Thanks all again!

Afternoon all, First post - so hello! Brief question regarding CF's. I'm using a Canon 400D and want a new and higher capcity CF. I know the cameras read/write speed is not the fastest so if I were to buy a new CF with a higher read/write speed would I still be able to use it in my camera...
