I've had one of these for a few years and it's been great. You can take off the center headstrap if you want. Has decent main 180 lumen beam as well as reduced levels for extended battery life, and has a low power "red" light to avoid nerfing your night vision. Takes AAA batteries...
I have a hateful Canon wireless printer that sometimes does this. When it powers up, it takes a random amount of time to show up as "online".
If you've already fixed IPs so they aren't changing, then you can ignore that, and the 2.4ghz/5ghz wifi thing - assuming your printer is connected to a...
Hi Folks
I've always used manual flash, which is fine for posed stuff, and works generally OK for me when I've been shooting live music gigs once I've got my settings dialled in.
Over the weekend I shot a birthday party which was pretty much like a wedding style setup. Lots of family members...
I have a Rogue Flashbender and it's great. Bendy, big velcro attachment that does soft diffuse, can be rolled into a snoot etc. Those Fong things are rubbish.
They're not hacking you, they're getting userne and password combos from compromised websites and you've used the same password on more than one.
Psychologically, it's clever. Seeing a reused real password makes it seems very real
Don't reuse passwords, and check haveibeenpwned.com to get an...
Folks, just picked up an X-A3.
Couple of funnies so far - I shoot aperture priority, but tried the SR auto and noticed that it enabled a macro mode. I can't find how to turn on macro in aperture priority - on other fujis I've used the D pad had a macro button. This doesn't and I can't find it...
If you think about it, the only way multiroom Bluetooth would work is if the Echoes set up a mesh network between themselves like Sonos, which would add cost. You need some way of one speaker passing a digital audio signal in real time to the other units.
They all do Bluetooth ("Alexa, connect my phone") but I think playback via Bluetooth from your phone is only to one device at a time. I can say "Alexa, play xxx on Spotify everywhere" and it works but I can't a2dp Bluetooth the same way.
I'm aware of that one claim, which Amazon responded to at the time with the following:
"Echo woke up due to a word in background conversation sounding like ‘Alexa’. Then, the subsequent conversation was heard as a ‘send message’ request. At which point, Alexa said out loud ‘To whom?’ At which...
Yes, exactly that. There are cases of people asking for recordings. There are no recordings to hand over though and you'll notice that the only data that has been confirmed are things like commands issued with timestamp. The devices simply do not sit there recording all the time. You can...
