    What an amazing image! I haven't done very much astro photography, to capture such an image do you need to be concerned about light pollution? are there places in the UK dark enough?

    If you're a Mac user I can recommend final cut pro, it's quite expensive but does a really good job. I've also used premier elements and it's available in both Mac and PC format, I would recommend it.
