Having thought about it you are correct, the detail is more important than the small error in construction, went out this afternoon to look at it again. I asked about tripod use and was told you can use one without any problem. costs £1 for the permit in the week, didnt cost anything today...

yes its the one near flagstaff, even in november it was very hot, nice hole in the ground though :) used a sigma 10-20mm at 10mm to get it in, i couldnt work out how to show the whole thing or show its size, took other shots but this one was the only one i was happy with, the area around the...

its in arizona, the crater is pretty big. at a guess its a mile across. felt like it when i walked on the rim, its deep too, the stuff in the very middle are about 6ft high. its hard to show the size of it in a photo.
