Good attempts David :) I have tried, and failed, on several occasions to capture similar events. The Heirs of Cromwell are parading this weekend in my hometown so I will give it another shot
I dont think it is out of focus but it does look soft. I have a D90 and often feel disappointed when my shots turn out like this.

Nice shots. I live a mile away and it is spectacularly lit at night. There is 300 tonnes at each end of the wheel and is so finely balanced and geared that it only uses the same power as boiling a kettle half a dozen times for one rotation :eek:
Great shots, must have a go at photographing my bike sometime. Give it a few months and you'll be wanting a Dragstar , then a Vmax :naughty:. Motorbikes are as addictive as camera gear, once you have the bug it is hard to stop spending :cuckoo:
