    Fortunately for me.Its only being used indoors or in the garden.But I will take on board your warning.Thks Amazed theres not just some easy replacement leg lock parts for tripods.I could do with the proper engineering term for that sort of compression tube lever clamp.

    I did not know legs were split.Seller says damaged in post & poss. willing to cover replacements. Agreed should be a very easy fix.But proving to be a pain. I have sent details to Manfrotto. Also poss. looking for a cheaper/more robust solution . I imagine Manfrotto are going to be pricey...

    Yes I have tried their website.This tripod is the manfrotto 190pro .They only show leg locks for the other 190PRO variants. These are slightly different.
