It's a worthwhile trip. Whole thing takes about 2.5 - 3hours including walking from car park to the mirrors. Lots of opportunities for photos. Next tour is the last Sunday in September (26th?).
Took these shots yesterday while on a tour to the sound mirrors at Dungeness, Kent. Built between 1928 and 1930 as an acoustic aircraft early warning system, they were made obsolete in 1935 following the invention of radar.
