How come the EXIF on flickr says most are 1/100, 1/80 and 1/60 with a few down to 1/30? Which ones were done at 1/10?

I didnt mean the whole pole, you can get 14m carp poles so you would only need to use the larger extension sections and not the tip sections that have all the flex in them.

Sounds like a fishing pole, never thought of those. Should be able to pick one up 2nd hand for pennies.

B&W would have probably been better, I find sepia works better on older topics like Pre WW2. 6 is a bit dark for me, could do with bringing out more detail where that arch is missing :)

Yes they are. They are not to heavy, basically a M20 nut pressed into a aluminium shell. Theaded rod is steel mainly for durability, will see how it effects the weight.

Had these made, just need to fit them to the poles.

Yer tried a wire with turnbuckles and I still wasnt confident. Anyway just bought 5m of 50mm aluminum tube for £25 from a local supplier.:D Will get some joiners made up at work this week and hopefully have a play
