Is a 2015 MacBook Air still “worth it” ?

is it the i5 or i7 model? I believe there are two A1466 2015 models.

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

I use the sigma 135 at weddings. It's quick, it's sharp but bloody hell is it heavy! Cracking lens

"I am not a wedding photographer"

I guess I'm binning too much. The one with the untidy room I wouldn't have taken in the first place. The one in the bathroom / kitchen with the bride bent over I'd have gone for a better position, or, if time hadn't allowed as it's spontaneous probably wouldn't have shot it, or not put it in the...

"I am not a wedding photographer"

Totally agree with Dave in the above comment. As a pro full time wedding photographer myself, the article is nothing more than 'click bait' and dare I say a marketing ploy to get the chap more work. Wedding Photography isn't the bottom rung as EVERY (decent) wedding photographer knows and whilst...

    Backup software

I used Acronis and noticed it wasn't backing everything up. Seemed unreliable for me. I ended up getting a refund from them

    Wedding Photography

I'm loving this thread. Having covered probably 400+ wedding now in the last ten years doing it full time I can honestly say................. It's the BEST job in the world..........and............ the worst job in the world. Good days are great. The weather is perfect, the couple of gorgeous...

    A7 III purchase conundrum!

I've just purchased a Sigma ART 135mm from Panamoz. Saved £200 on the cost over here. It's not a great deal, but for waiting for four days for delivery it's worth it. Having sent something back to Panamoz in the past I can confirm it's no harder than here in the UK!

    A7 III purchase conundrum!

Not any more but I managed it. I purchased two A9's in August last year and got them registered before the change came in. I've just ordered a new lens from Panamoz. Ordered yesterday, Fedex email to say it will be with me on Monday :)

    A7 III purchase conundrum!

I get all my kit from Panamoz. Yes you'll loose the Sony warranty but Panamoz provide a three year uk warranty anyway.

Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

Removing the mirror doesn't effect the DoF, what the hell is he on about lol?

Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

and I'd laugh my arse off if he shot a wedding with a Z7 and the card failed. lol A good wedding photographer yes.

Nikon mirrorless definitely on the way

I did, and the announcement this morning confirmed to me that Nikon are out of touch with what the professional wants. Saying that in 10 years with Nikon I never had a card fail. I've had 4 this year on my Sony A9's. Nikon have had the chance to really step up to the plate and offer something...

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Megapixels aren't everything nowadays though unless you're wanting to crop like a bad un. Again depends no the use. I'm a pro wedding photographer and for me , silent shutter, amazing eye tracking, resistant to flicker, just a couple of things for me.

    Hasselblad X1D Bargain

Interesting about the A9 EVF. I use to A9's to shoot weddings and find the EVF's to be responsive and whilst not an OVF they are pretty close!
