    Regal Jumping Spiders (Phidippus Regius)

Just wanted to share a few photos of my pet jumping spiders. The female is really cute and fluffy and really doesn't look 'spidery', whereas the male looks a lot more like the big black things you'd find hiding in the shed, lol! First up, the female, Bella, followed by a single pic of Buster...

    Jumping Spider

I love the little zebra jumpers in and around the house. I have a pair of Regal Jumping spiders as pets, plus an egg sac full of babies from a wild caught female I had that died after she laid her sac and tended to her them for a few weeks.

Metallic Hologram on New Pound Coins

They were talking about this on the local radio station this morning. Apparently, some people have been selling 2016 pound coins on ebay as being rare, when in fact they aren't as they were first minted in 2016.

They don't stay still do they?! Cute l'il things though. Your attempt is way better than mine from a couple of weeks ago, lol!

    Female Panther chameleon

I am always right there with them. Never let any of them climb higher than I can reach. They would never, ever be left unattended outside.

    Pixie the Panther Chameleon

Thanks for the constructive input! What does dialling the flash compensation right back mean please? She's a beautiful girl and I'm still learning how to use my new bridge camera.

    Silk Moths

Yeah, you can buy silkworm chow, which is ground mulberry leaves. They are such a lot of work raising them from eggs. They have no immune system so everything needs to be really clean.

    Silk Moths

Thanks everyone! The first moth was actually dead. I call that photo 'Angel Moth'.

    Silk Moths

I bred these a few years ago as the caterpillars are excellent lizard food!

    Female Panther chameleon

Blimey! He was lucky she lived so long without UVB lighting and supplements we now have in the hobby! There's been a lot of research into their care since those days. Your father could well have brought back a female T. J. Xantholophus, the females like my male above don't have horns. It...

    Female Panther chameleon

Thanks! She is my only chameleon. I have had several over the years, my favourite being my Jackson's chameleon, Monty.
