Unfortunately I was working until 5.30 then had to drive up for an hr so SS3 was realistically the first one I could get too! Then I was working on saturday too so no more stages then either :(

Thanks! It's probably the best shot that shows action, it can be quite hard portraying just how rough and windy it was. I've always found that quite hard in sailing photos as it's not until it's extremely windy that you even get much splashes!

Thanks folks, the hairpin at #3 was great for getting that sorta shot which I took a few off but I didn't want the entire set to look like that one shot so I took a lot of different angles there!

No Filters used, I always seem to end up misplacing filters so I've just stopped buying them! A few of them have had a grad in camera raw applied!

I have meant to head to some of the smaller races for years to photograph just never gotten around to it. It's the same with the rallying, you have so much more freedom at the smaller events they are actually often more enjoyable to go see!

Yeah it is a pity. First bike race I have ever been too, I was quite looking forward too it!

I've fallen in love with the 2:1 crop over time, I use it a lot in rally shots :p Not been doing that much photography the past year or so really, just out a few times with the camera! #3 would be the weakest for the set for me too not overly sure why I actually included it actually!
