It’s a proper filter in the Fuji X100 series, that is mechanically moved across the sensor, so not a digital ND. Best uses are that it allows mechanical shutter at wide apertures in bright light and also can be combined with external filters, so buying a 6 stop ND filter gives you (on X100VI) 4...

The XF50-140’s seemed to have firmed up in price, I paid £650 for mine last December from Park Cameras (excellent grading) - no box Surprising since a Mk2 50-140 has been rumoured for some time

I'm going to stick with my 50-140 for these reasons The 50-140 is an internal zoom and I use it in all weathers and am comfortable with the weather sealing All my existing ND filters (motorpsort panning) are 72mm It supports the 1.4TC It has that extra bit of reach I already have the lens!!!
