I have several older third party batteries that have expanded (bulged), never had it with a Fujifilm battery.

There is a setting in LR Import Preferences which allows you to treat JPGs as separate files, turn it on it imports both RAW and JPG, turn it off and it only imports the RAWs

Yes X-H2S is about the same readout speed as A9/A9II but slower than A1 I have no idea about the X-H2S EVF settings, never touched them, and I've just packed the camera away for this weekend's shenanigans. I think the only options are refresh rate, mine will be on default whatever that is...

    GCSE - Suitable camera

This doesn't work when all the schools/colleges cameras are DSLR, it is much better from a learning POV to be able to use the same kit that they are taught on. The ability to have compatibility with school kit is also very relevant. A Canon 1100D with kit lens and a nifty fifty can be had for...

Speed, speed and more speed - the X-H2S has a stacked sensor and can run up to 40fps in ES (not that I'm shooting at that speed!!), also I've not noticed any rolling artefacts yet with the ES, its readout is fast, not Sony fast but fast nethertheless. The AF is astonishing quick (for a Fuji) and...

Pre-loved 1100D or 1200D with kit lens would be a good place to start - the newer the better as low light performance improves

    GCSE - Suitable camera

I was in the same position with my step daughter, I bought her an 1100D with kit lens, and had old nifty fifty and flash she could use. It allowed her to borrow kit from the school, She carried on with the 1100D for a few years, we swapped the lens out for a faster F2.8 version. She eventually...

A meltingly hot day at Oulton Park yesterday (British GT3 Championship), camera stood up to the heat better than I did!! I was a little worried as there are a number of reports of X-H2S's shutting down due to overheating, but I think my choice of a Delkin Black VF Express Card which runs at half...

Grip is probably more secure on X-H2 but it looses the Fuji dialness and is more like a DSLR in handling - a lot depends on how you like to use a camera

Do they actually shoot video ?? :ROFLMAO: Not a function I would use, but I could understand shooting photos to one card and video to another.
