Many thanks to everyone who replied, Rob-Nikon and Box Brownie nailed it, somehow the firmware update had set it to 1/2 stop, went into the custom settings and changed it back to 1/3 stop

Hi Taylor, can you access the departments website and go into their about us page and see if there's anything helpful within that? Failing that you could always just call the department and ask what they might be looking for, nothing ventured nothing gained as they say, good luck

I had a look through those settings when I did the original reset and cleared them as well still no joy I'm afraid

Ah that might explain it, I'll need to look through some old pics in LR, maybe it was F6.3 it went from and not 6.7, no idea why they've changed it then as I used to shoot a lot at F7.1 that's why I noticed it was missing

Would you not be better getting a few USB sticks? Drop a HDD and it's usually toast, drop a USB stick and it will normally still be working

Also HP used to provide Softpaq Download manager for updating their laptops now superseded with HP Image Assistant, might be worth downloading that and running it to see what drivers etc it throws up for installation

Have you enabled the M2 socket within the BIOS? Also what build of Win 10 are you currently using? I have the latest 20H2 build on my laptop, there maybe a compatibility issue, type winver into the search bar next to the start button and press enter and it will show you the version of Windows...
