I find it hard to work out what the actual subject of the shoot is meant to be. the sky is nice, as is the car but i don't think they work well together in that composition.
Sorry, i meant variable ND's the ones on ebay for a tenner.
I've read that circular polarising filters on a wide angle, possibly ultra wide angle lenses are no use as part of the "scene" would be left with light and dark patches as the PL couldn't cover the extreme angles.
Yeah, I'm looking to probably get a few filters, not grads, maybe something that cuts out anything up to 10 stops. There seems to be a gap between the lens ring and the filter holder. Do the holders generally have a gasket then? Can I buy them separate?
Cheers
Hello, Quick question for the group.
Been thinking of buying some square ND filters (probably ND 4's or 8's) for a Cokin P filter holder i was given but I'm scratching my head at how to stop light from entering the lens between the holder and the adapter ring.
I'd assume this problem has...
When it comes to wedding photography there will always be a vast gulf between "a lovely photo" and "a decent shot". The bride and groom are probably delighted at them but you'll get other people (mainly other photographers) telling you the composition was off, it's soft, bags under the eyes...
From what i remember from RTFM, You can let go of the back button after focussing and before recomposing only if you are on AF-S.
Point being is that you can focus and leave it alone (preset focus for subjects of the same distance etc) AF-C and AF-A is for things that may move or will move.
Wear casual clothing but not madeup to look like a private detective or a pervert. Basically try not to look like you're doing something wrong. A look of guilt can cause way more issues than a smile and a wave. Oh, and don't act like you're spying by hiding round corners and peering over walls...
Brilliant shots, love the storyboard. I think you've nailed it for them and indeed you've managed to make every photo unique to itself...if you know what i mean. These are what I aspire to. Thank you for sharing them.
