Odd one, but does anyone know if the viewfinder in the canon is glass or plastic? Mine has been very badly scratched and makes the image through it hazy, if it's plastic i can polish it out but don't want to ruin it more if it's glass. Thanks

I'll get some more scanned and posted. Can't tell you much about the photographer, i helped someone clear out a relatives house and these were destined for the tip so i brought them home.

Thanks for all the tips, guess i won't throw them away :) Still going through them all, there are a loads of envelopes full of negatives so i could have them reprinted.

Indeed most of the photos are of towns and landmarks and countryside etc around the early 30's. There is also Egypt and i think Israel

Hi all. I recently found a box of 100's of photographs from around 1920 on. I have no use for them but there are some war photos, and lots of photos of different towns and cites in the 20's and 30's anyone know any organisations who might want them before they are thrown out? Don't know much...

Thanks for the replys, i have checked and double checked photos, they are the correct ones and all have a good 20-30% overlap. I'll take a few my pics later and try again, or stick with ptgui which doesn't have a problem with the photos i am using :) Cheers

Hey all, looking for a bit of help with photoshops photomerge feature. I am loading my images (4 in all) via bridge, then tools and merge, it's does 3 images perfectly but leaves the last out of the panorama and puts it underneath? I also have PTGui which works perfectly. Cheers Nick
