fantastic stuff! One point of note - don't you need a licence to photograph Kingfishers or something? I think it's to do with 'disturbing their natural habitat', & using flash may risk breaching those rules
not taking anything away from the photos, which really are great - & clearly the flash...
this is the exact same problem I often have - I'm so focused (excuse the pun!) on getting the shot right technically, that I forget to deal with small points of composition etc. I’m hoping that as I gain more experience, I’ll get better as the technical stuff will become second...
I like no.1 & no.2 a lot. No.1 would look good even without the fly; in fact it might even look better imo.
no.2 is a lovely composition, in contrast to no.5, which is too messy/busy for my liking.
wordpress seems very popular among my photographer friends, & is what I'm leaning towards at the minute. I will go through your recommendations with a fine comb though, massive thanks for such great advice/info!
exactly this. I've just ordered a new desktop, I doubt if I'll even install Firefox. (actually, I probably will if I ever get round to sorting my website, as I'll need to test the compatibility etc.)
I've a friend who is 9 months pregnant at the minute - she jumps if you go near her belly! I doubt even you could get her to look as comfortable as the couples above... great shots, very natural & stylish
I really like stuff like this! Photography is a phenomenally diverse artform, & it constantly amazes me how creative people are at coming up with ideas once they've taken the usual sunset/cat/flower pics
