It’s a great way to explore - I did use the camera as an excuse to get full suspension though, to help take a few more bumps out of me and the camera, even with the camera in a backpack not on the bike

ive tried a few times for it to create LR presets by showing it example LR preset files, and before and after shots... came to the conclusion that it kinda got the idea but nothing to show off. Think it would need a model trained specifically, which is almost what LR is trying to do anyway...

Only the 1 currently in a lastolite ezybox which I’m handholding. As for the meltdown - I kind of understand it but the fact it lets you shoot 20fps with flash continuously is surely no different and would still cause the same issue.

It seems great to me, I did get the v1 pro too (it was 239 at cameraworld when I got it a couple of months ago) - I can't say I have a massive use for the round head, but was shopping around and it seemed like a good buy. I use it mainly for macro, and a bit of off camera fill for outdoor...

So yesterday I spent far too long trying to suss out high speed sync flash on the z8, godox v1 and x3n. So as a fyi, with the flash on the hotshoe it worked fine, but with the x3n it just wouldn’t work, limiting me to the 1/250th as set on the sync speed in the menu and even with high speed...

Hi, Is focus stacking with flash on a z8 really not possible without putting a minimum 1 second delay in between shots? seems crazy when you can shoot 20fps with flash, just wondering if anyone had discovered a workaround? a little frustrating,

I know you probably have enough suggestions above, but to add one more.... I really like using a sidekick on my monopod, it gives a really good gimbal experience but keeping the weight minimal (and central) but also a good 'handle' to hold right next to the camera, rather than having to hold...

I either use a wrist strap with shortish lenses (peak design) which a, stops me dropping my camera, and b, in street situations, a slight security from someone running off with it. when using a long lens, I have a long neck/shoulder strap, so can throw my monopod or tripod over my shoulder...

Whilst AUTO can be a bit OTT, the new (ish) adaptive colour profile, and ability to use an amount slider on the profile, does provide a useful tool for getting some instant pointers in the right direction. It's not bad having these tools in your workshop, the eyes of millions of photographers...

Yep totally agree, was a little shocked by this... flicking from photos to videos for wildlife, sometimes there isn't long to change everything, like going from 1/2500 for a still, then wanting 1/250th for a 120p video, and of course everything else that needs changing with it. can you not use...

One thing I find a little misleading with regard circular/magnetic over square, is how people (YouTube reviewers etc) go on about how easy magnetic are to attach to the lens and user friendly they are in ease of use over square. My argument is that they dont show you all the faff regarding lens...

Loving the example photo advertising the new 35 1.2 s - definitely a shot you need a very shallow depth of field to keep bits oof! Not sure if the price or the photo is more shocking.
