Well I think I sussed it, I disconnected to passport from the laptop then put the card in and got the lights flashing. So I re-connected it to the laptop and they down loaded no problem. Not sure why they wouldn't down load when the passport was connected.
Now I just need a new smartphone so I...
Not trying to use it wirelessly, I'm using a cable. I'll try it with a different card from another camera tomorrow as I think that might be the problem.
That's what I thought should happen but I can't get my photo's from the passport to my laptop. It would help if there was some sort of instruction with it. I'll have to have another play with it on Friday, I've had enough for tonight.
Thanks anyway.
Hi,
Has anyone got one of these?
Can you tell me whether you need the app and a smartphone to use the My Passport Pro or can you use it by just connecting it to your camera?
Why? What difference does the colour made, I went for the white one because it was £40 cheaper. It still works in exactly the same way as a black one.
Sometimes having something that doesn't look like a "real camera" can be an advantage.
Only got freeview here so can't get any winter sports. I used to do the biathlon when I was younger but there aren't many people in television who understand what it's all about.
For dry bags or dry rucksacks have a look at Lomo https://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalog/Dry-Bag-Rucksacks.html. if you're worried about your camera being bashed then you could put a BYOB type insert inside https://www.tenba.com/products/accessories/byob-camera-inserts.
But what does he actually say, he doesn't like the camera because it's not "revolutionary enough" it's not got any new whistles and bells. He doesn't actually tell you anything about the camera itself. Sixteen minutes of waffle about "falling out of love with Canon" and nothing else.
